When getting sponsorship, go to people who will be your top sponsors first - by having a series of 5-10 sponsors on the top of the form, others will follow suit.
Be sure to personalise and keep updating your fundraising page: add a profile picture, tell people why you’ve chosen us as your charity and how things are going in the run up to your event. People love to see pictures and videos, so share training selfies or behind the scenes clips.
We are happy to offer advice on how you can promote your fundraising event, and where possible and appropriate, we are happy to share details on our social media channels!
Of course! If you are interested in having any MHA branded materials at for your fundraiser, please let us know by contacting us at fundraiser@mhaberdeen.org.uk. If we have collateral available, and we can get it to you in time for your event, we’d be delighted for you to make use of it.
All buckets/donation cans must be returned after your event.
We’d love to be at your event, but it does depend on staff/volunteer availability. If a mutually suitable time can be arranged beforehand, we’ll see you there and would be happy to say a few words. Contact us at fundraiser@mhaberdeen.org.uk if this is of interest.
