Donation FAQs

Can I donate via bank transfer?

Absolutely! Just drop an email to and we’ll give you our details.

Bank transfer is our preferred method for donations as there are no fees involved. This means 100% of your money goes to supporting what we do.

Can I send you cash?

We’re grateful for all donations, but please don’t send us cash in the post. We can’t guarantee it will safely arrive and cannot be held responsible for any cash that is lost on its way to us.

If you’d like to drop cash off at MHA Head Office, phone us on 01224 590510 and we can arrange a suitable time.

Can I donate via cheque?

Yes you can! To donate by cheque please make your cheque payable to ‘Mental Health Aberdeen’. Your cheque can then be posted to:

Can my money go to a specific service?

Has one of our services has helped you or a loved one, do you know a member of staff, or maybe the work they do has just made you smile? We’d love to send your donation their way.

What happens if I raised money online?

There are lots of great platforms like JustGiving or Enthuse for raising money. If you’ve selected Mental Health Aberdeen as your charity on the platform then money will be automatically transferred to us, you don’t need to do anything!
