ACIS Youth provide more than 13,000 counselling sessions each year and all for free. Our counsellors work across schools in Aberdeen, in NESCOL and SRUC, and from our hub on Dee Street.

The application form asked how they’d gone the extra mile, and we had loads to say! Our counsellors go above and beyond to make sure every young person they see has the best possible experience in their sessions. The team go out of their way to make sure their counselling rooms are safe, cosy, and welcoming and that young clients have full control of the set up. One of our counsellors even has a drawer full of cereal bars for kids that haven’t eaten yet, or simply want to pop by for a snack and a quick chat.

The entire team are kind, compassionate and amazingly passionate about the work they do.  No matter what the result, they're all winners to us and an absolute credit to MHA.
